What is OD? Article from HR Magazine - worth a read.

Interesting article looking at how the 'relationship' between HR & Organisational Development (OD) is evolving. Good input from Paul Taylor-Pitt & Mee-Yan Cheung-Judge who I have to say are both excellent people for anyone wishing to learn more of 'OD's heritage', tools and practice.

The increased focus on organisational design and linking OD initiatives more closely to the customer experience is one critical element, especially in public service at the moment. Increasingly that seems to mean our ability to help people to help themselves is (rightly) focused on enabling them to be able to fish.

You still need some resourcing/help to buy a fishing rod, tackle and bait though, even when you have been taught to fish is my experience.
